Our enthusiasm for ramen began a few years ago in Düsseldorf. Here is one of the largest Japanese districts in Europe. So Japanese culture and cuisine was not far away from our home, the Ruhr area.
Seven years ago we moved to the Rhine-Main area together. Between Frankfurt and Mannheim we then realized that this self-image of going out for traditional ramen was not a self-image at all.
So we had to take the wooden spoon into our own hands...
